Cowboys signing special teams star KaVontae Turpin to 3-year deal

The Dallas Cowboys and KaVontae Turpin agreed to a three-year, $18 million contract on Tuesday, a deal that will make him the NFL’s highest-paid special teams player.Turpin, 28, was a first-team All-Pro in 2024 after returning one punt and one kickoff for a touchdown. He also led the league with an average of 33.5 yards per kickoff return.Turpin set personal-best totals as a wide receiver last season, reeling in 31 catches for 420 yards in 17 games (two starts). He also had two touchdown receptions.
