A WILDFIRE BURNING SOUTHEAST OF ALBUQUEREQUE KEEPS GROWING. THE DOG HEAD FIRE IN THE MANZANO MOUNTAINS HAD CONSUMED MORE THAN 12-THOUSAND ACRES AS OF 11:30 THURSDAY MORNING. MORE THAN 400 FIRE PERSONNEL ARE WORKING THE FIRE WHICH STARTED ON TUESDAY. THE FOREST SERVICE SAYS HIGH WINDS, LOW HUMIDITY AND FUEL CONDITIONS ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE FIRE’S RAPID GROWTH. SEVERAL COMMUNITIES, INCLUDING CHILILI, HAVE BEEN EVACUATED…AND SEVERAL STRUCTURES HAVE BURNED.
