Fall back; look ahead:
The World Series came in with a bang, and with much anticipation, but sort of left with a whimper, as the Kansas City Royals handily took care of the New York Mets and defeated them in 5. Now it’s onward and upward with the sports that dominate the cold, wet and dark months ahead. I know it sounds dreary, but in reality it is not, it’s hot. Check this Lobo men’s and women’s basketball has gotten underway (exhibition) and everyone is excited about that, the regular season tips off Friday November 13th at Wisepies Arena AKA The Pit, let’s see what Coach Neal and company offer up to us, as every start of college basketball is exciting and full of high energy and great anticipation. Don’t forget Lobo Football still has four games left, as they try to reach their goal of six wins to seek bowl eligibility, certainly a tough road ahead of them, but not impossible with a squad who wants it very bad, as well as a fan base who will do their best to help Bob Davie and this group. Lastly Albuquerque has a lot to look forward to, in less than two weeks, “The Preachers Daughter” Holly Holm will finally face off with the UFC’s Champion Extraordinaire Ronda Rousey, man I am so looking forward to this fight as it means so much to Albuquerque, catch my newsletter next week as I will breakdown the fight and how I think it will go. Lastly the NFL is still in full swing, much to be exited on what’s happening with the Shield week in and week out, don’t forget to join Michael and I every Thursday starting at 3 pm as we broadcast from Fox and Hound leading up to the Thursday Night Football game. So while the Boys of Summer are gone marking the official end of summer at least for me, don’t fret, lots to keep up with in the comfort of your warm pad.
