October Prediction

October is a cool month, it brings us fall and the beauty of the leaves changing colors, the second quarter of professional football, and of course Halloween, and keeping candy rather than giving it out, and wearing a mask and acting like a fool for a day. Most importantly it brings us the post season in Major League Baseball, and the run to the Fall Classic. Summer went by fast this year, as we kept an eye on the Albuquerque Isotopes and its parent club the Colorado Rockies. Certainly an interesting time for both teams as they are both in line for many lineup changes etc. to get into winning form for next season. Watching baseball all season was fascinating as there were and are some surprises in what is now the post season. How did your team do? Did you expect to see the Blue Jays, Astros, Cubs, and Mets in the playoffs this year? I’ve got to say I didn’t, but I am also happy to say I’m glad they are all in. So many different twists and turns for all of these franchises, where does one begin? Certainly unexpected and again fascinating. Let’s not forget teams that have earned their way into the playoffs another straight year, the Cardinals, the Dodgers, the Pirates, and yes the American League Champions of last year the Kansas City Royals. I’m gonna cut to the chase and give you my prediction for this year’s World Series teams and who I believe will win it. I say the Toronto Blue Jays a team who out of the trade deadline made some key moves that have made them one of the hottest teams in the entire league will battle the Los Angeles Dodgers who have won the National League West for a third straight time. A team who is criticized for having the biggest pay role and some of the best pitching ever seen in Klayton Kershaw and Zach Greinke but for whatever reason cannot get off the snide and advance. I believe it happens this year, and the Dodgers win it all. We shall see, but from yours truly Mike Trujillo that is my bold October prediction for this year’s World Series, However, I may want to leave my Halloween mask on into November if my prediction stinks!
