Deflate-gate has deflated the sports world.
If the New England Patriots broke the rules they deserve to be punished. Looking for an edge is not something new in sports. Luckily for the Patriots they blew the doors off of Indianapolis so a few less pounds in a football and new footballs in the second half don't factor into that outcome. It does put everything else under a microscope for a franchise that has already had its fair share of nonsense. As the time ticks down to kickoff on Super Sunday you wonder how many people realize they are playing an actual football game, on a field, hopefully with regulation footballs and a fair outcome. The Patriots missteps with the football crossed over into every other media outlet, news, entertainment, etc. It's mind numbing. When and if we can get back to basics the question is Legion of Boom or 'Yo soy fiesta'? Can the Seahawks’ secondary slow down the best tightend in the National Football League, Rob Gronkowski? Will Marshawn Lynch be able to go Beast Mode on the Patriots’ front seven? We'll always have to deal with air pressure football references but 60 minutes on a football field Sunday will decide legacies. Tom Brady's sixth Super Bowl appearance. Seattle trying for back-to-back Super Bowl wins. It will be a historic Sunday. You can join us to watch the game at Sandia Resort and Casino for our Sports Radio 610 KNML Bowl Bash Presented by Nu Male. Doors open at 2 p.m. and we look forward to seeing you there!
