So, when did the Seattle Seahawks become hated?

I realize that when you win, and you talk junk while you win, people dislike you; especially the people whose teams you beat along the way.  But it wasn't long ago that the Seahawks were irrelevant.  Heck, when the NFL re-shuffled their divisions, Seattle was moved from the AFC West to the NFC West and hardly anyone noticed.  I referred to an LA Times article on our show last week, written five years ago, talking about what a mistake Pete Carroll was making, leaving USC to take the head coaching job in Seattle.  I will tell you this: Not only was it NOT a mistake, but Pete Carroll has done a remarkable job.  Dare I say, he has done a great job in Seattle.  He has taken a perennial afterthought of a franchise and has them in the Super Bowl for the second straight year. I get it… they have a few polarizing personalities.  Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch and Pete Carroll….and the 12's (their fans). They also have Russell Wilson and a heck of a good story.  I kind of like the Seahawks’ story, swagger and act.  I'm not sure that I think they are going to win this weekend, but I do like their story.
