Welcome to November

In most parts of the country, this time of year is the most exciting time of the year because it's the height of football season.  Around here, it's the beginning of basketball season.  Either way, it should be a fun month.  Football season still can be fun here.  The Lobos, coming off their 3-point road win in Las Vegas last weekend play the Mountain West's poster child at home on Saturday, and I'm wondering if anyone will be there (Boise State on Saturday night at 5:00).  The weather should be great.  The game time seems perfect.   I sure hope people will be there.  I don't think the Lobos are going to win three of their last four and make a bowl game, but I do think they are playing well and are entertainingly. We are going to get a look at Lamar Jordan, the freshman quarterback; is he the guy for the future?  There still is a month of football left… and remember how much you missed football the rest of the year?  You've got another month left… including the Gildan New Mexico Bowl, here locally.  Take advantage of it.  Enjoy it.
