UNM women's soccer

Greetings everyone! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week! UNM women's soccer is in the news for all the wrong reasons right now for an alleged hazing incident involving some players that reportedly were subjected to excessive amounts of alcohol being consumed, urine thrown on them… all while being stripped down naked. While meaningful team building exercises can many times involve some type of initiation to prove your worthiness (fraternities and sororities are founded on the practice), the mob mentality that these kids get caught up in has nearly, and will eventually, without a doubt, get a young man or woman killed! Team building or not, there are other ways to do that and if it takes suspending these kids for a year or even shutting down the program for a year, so be it! The message needs to be sent! How New Mexico is one of only six states also that hasn't banned hazing and put it on the law books is beyond me! Gotta start at the top, my friends! Have a great week!!
