Happy Fricken B-Day,

Pardon me if I come across sounding like a man who has lived to be a 106 years old. The man who recalls everything from WWII to the assassination of JFK to these fast new plastic cars that aren't made well. In this case it hasn't been a millennium or even a quarter of a century, but I have literally seen the growth of a radio station and somehow managed to even be hired by it.
In 1994 I was working for the City of Albuquerque as a laborer for the Weed and Litter Dept., when I came across these little bumper stickers advertising an all sports radio station. I was ecstatic, I thought "wow" Albuquerque has finally hit the big time, it has it's own Sports talk station. Since then I have heard the numerous local talent: guys named Dennis, Blake, Bob, Ian, Eric, Andrew- the list goes on and on. I have seen many affiliate changes which include ESPN, FOX, and now CBS with a plethora of nationally syndicated programming. Shows which also included names like Dan Patrick, Tony Bruno , The Fabulous Sports Blob etc.
Lastly I was turned on to the best in the biz, an individual who has been with the Animal since the beginning: Jim Rome. I have seen him on two tour stops and even got some very famous ink of my hero, which also helped me get my own radio show on what? My favorite radio station ever! Wow! Now 20 years later I am a co-host on said station with my friend and colleague David Jubb. Here's to another 20 years of entertaining Albuquerque and abroad 610 The Sports Animal! This station has had a profound impact on the life of  a former trash hurler, Thanks again and HAPPY FRICKEN BIRTHDAY!!!
