Top Dodger Prospects with 'Topes
Baseball season is here and the Albuquerque Isotopes once again will be on 610 The Sports Animal. As the Triple-A affiliate to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Isotopes goal is to develope prospects and have players ready for their major league call up. This season the early roster features some of the top prospects in the Dodgers organization. Here's a quick peek at some names you'll hear and see at Isotopes Park.

2nd: OF (L/L), Joc Pederson, Born: 04/21/1992. Batted .278 with 22 HR’s and 31 SB’s in 439 at-bats in Double-A. His father, Stu Pederson, was drafted by the Dodgers in 1981 and played in eight games in the Majors in 1985. Rated as Dodgers #1 prospect by Baseball America.
11th: Pitcher (R), Jose Dominguez, Born: 08/07/1990. Garcia pitched in Double-A, Triple-A and eight innings with the Dodgers last year. A season in which he served a 25-game suspension. His fastball averaged 98.5 mph.
12th: Pitcher (R), Matt Magill, Born: 11/10/1989. Magill started six games for the Dodgers last season posting a 6.52 ERA in 27 2/3 innings pitched with a 26-to-28 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
16th: Pitcher (R), Yimi Garcia, Born: 08/18/1990. In 49 Double-A appearances last year, Garcia racked up 85 K’s in 60 1/3 innings pitched with a 2.54 ERA.
