Jeff’s Journal

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a more polarizing figure in sports than LeBron James.  The LeBron lovers are so passionate and will make every argument as to why he is the best.  The haters will pick any reason to tell you why he’s not.  The just concluded NBA playoffs were really fun, and LeBron was as big a reason for that as any.  I am not necessarily a LeBron fan.  In full disclosure, I really like this Golden State team and was hoping the Warriors would win.  But there is no denying that we are watching one of the best ever in LeBron.  Whether you’re a Michael guy, or a Kobe guy, or a Wilt guy (or girl for that matter), LeBron is in that category.  And we haven’t seen the last of him in the Finals by any means.  He will be back, most likely with a healthy supporting cast.  Would a healthy Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving have made a difference?  Probably, although I’m not in the camp who believes that the Cavs automatically win the series if those two are in the lineup.  Just take some time to appreciate what we are getting to see.  It’s really, really entertaining.
