Triple-A baseball begins March 29th in Albuquerque when the Isotopes host El Paso. A minor league affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, the Topes hope to host and send plenty of talent to the big club. Who are some of the name’s fans will see? We’ll dive into the rankings throughout the season to give up an idea of the players to watch, how they are performing and if and when they’ll will be dressing for the Isotopes.

28 – Adael Amador – 2B/SS – 6′ – 200
The 20-year-old middle infielder is the highest rated Rockies prospect on the top-100 list coming in at 28 overall. Amador was signed as an international prospect in July of 2019. The switch hitter showed plate discipline drawing a walk on 14.2-percent of his plate appearances while striking out 12.3% of the time. He made the move to Double-A in 2023 and did miss seven weeks following surgery to repair a broken hamate in his right hand.
52 – Chase Dollander – RHP – 6’2” – 200
Selected 9th overall in the first round of the 2023 draft, Dollander, has a fastball that averaged 96mph his junior season at Tennessee. The 22-year-old backs that up with a slider, curve and changeup. The right-hander began his college career at Georgia Southern before transferring to UT where he was named the SEC pitcher of the year as a sophomore.
72 – Yanquiel Fernandez – OF – 6’2” – 198
Fernandez was another international free agent signed in 2019. The 21-year-old made his full season debut in 2022 with High-A Spokane where he posted an OPS of .847 with 109 RBI. The move to Double-A Hartford showed there is still work to do with his approce at the plate. He looks like a three true outcome prospect: home run, walk or strikeout. Fernandez hit 25 HR’s om ’23 while striking out 33-percent of the time.
81 – Jordan Beck – OF – 6’3” – 225
The 22-year-old was selected 38th overall in the 2022 draft out of the University of Tennessee. Beck made his way to Double-A Hartford last sesaon and was able to put together a 20 home run and 20 steal season. His 61 extra base hits last year were third in the Rockies organization.
