AT LAST REPORT THE FIRE WAS 9 PERCENT CONTAINED WITH OVER 17, 600 ACRES BURNED. THE LATEST INFORMATION RELEASED INDICATES THAT 24 SINGLE RESIDENCES AND 21 OTHER MINOR STRUCTURES HAVE BEEN DESTROYED. ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE FIRE CREWS CONTINUE TO HOLD AND PATROL A WELL-ESTABLISHED HAND CREATED FIREBREAK. AND THEY ARE WORKING TO CREATE A FIREBREAK ON THE EAST SIDE AS WELL. AIR TANKERS AND HELICOPTERS ARE CONTINUING TO DROP WATER AND RETARDENT AND CREWS ARE MONITORING FOR HOT SPOTS ACROSS THE LINE.
