A minor league baseball game can be one of the most laid back sporting environments. Usually there are not many fans tied into the win-loss record of said club. But when the games close, it’s getting late, the fans will rise. That’s what we see at Isotopes Park. First off the environment is one of the best you will get in minor league baseball. A great park with views, food and beer. That is more than enough for some folks. The Isotopes take entertainment seriously along with their baseball and it’s why the park is filled with thousands of fans throughout the summer. Right off the bat they knock it out with Holly Holm day Saturday. An appearance by the former UFC champ and jerseys that they are auctioning off for charity. Better Call Saul night is in store for the hit AMC show and plenty more. If you do fancy the baseball the main attraction at the moment is pitcher Jeff Hoffman. The 23 year-old was the main piece acquired from the Toronto when Colorado sent shortstop Troy Tulowitzki to the Blue Jays last year. He made his Triple-A debut earlier on the Isotopes opening eight game road trips at Tacoma. Hoffman struck out six over six innings of work without giving up a run. He’s one of the many prospects Isotopes fans will get to see this season. Spring has sprung and Isotopes baseball is here.
