Wild Card done; Divisional Round next…
Wild Card weekend is now officially in the books, and wild it was. Out of the four teams I predicted to win, three teams prevailed. The KC Chiefs, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Pittsburgh Steelers…I was wrong on my pick of the Washington Redskins defeating the Green Bay Packers, let that be a lesson to me and to all, don’t go against Aaron Rodgers he’ll do it to you every time. Which leads me to my picks for this week, starting with the Green Bay Packer versus the Arizona Cardinals, this one is tough Arizona has weapons and have had a very convincing season to prove to all they are for real, yet I can’t help deny the Rodgers magic and I feel compelled to go Packers, hahaha nope can’t do it I’m going with a rested dangerous Cardinal team. On to the KC Chiefs and the NE Patriots, call me a crazy, delusional fan, but I’m going with the Chiefs, some of the reasons lie mostly with injuries with NE, not to mention the fact that the Patriots lost 4 out of their last 6 heading into the playoffs, something is not right, and lastly credit a Chiefs team looking for their 12th win in a row, they are playing sound football. Next up Seattle Seahawks v. the Carolina Panthers, again not an easy one, but I’m going with experience versus a remarkable 15-1 regular season record the Panthers had, it won’t surprise me if the Panthers win, but I’m picking Seattle seeking their third straight Super Bowl appearance. Finally last but not least the Steelers versus the Denver Broncos, this one is the easier of the four, simply because of the Hate Bowl between the Steelers and the Bengals last weekend, the injuries the Steelers sustained as a result of that, will have a huge effect on a team going into the crib of a well-rested Bronco team, as well as one of the top defenses in the league who will be relentless and will make the difference! Tune in next week, and we’ll see what I got right and what I got wrong, and I will give you my Super Bowl picks as well!
