Old year out, regular season done; New Year in playoffs begin…
Happy New Year everyone, I hope 2016 is a kind and prosperous year for all you and your family, now it is time to get back to business as there is still plenty going on this winter. It never seizes to amaze me how fast the NFL season flies by, 16 games in 17 weeks starting back in September, and now here we are in the new calendar year getting ready for that stretch run heading into Super Bowl 50. At the beginning of the season, my prediction of the Super Bowl matchup included the New England Patriots versus the Green Bay Packers, now I’m not so sure, as crazy as things change and parody, in the league, also a little bit of luck, and just weird alignment of the stars, I’m gonna reserve my right to change my mind and just simply go week to week, with the Wild Card, Divisional, Conference then ultimately your Super Bowl Champ. You might say that’s punk, but there is no official tape of me giving this prediction over the air, hahahaha! So here we go, let’s start, with my favorite team the KC Chiefs as they go on the road to play the Houston Texans, two teams much alike on the bottom of the list in the AFC, my pick is that KC edges with a slightly more sound offense . Then we have the Seattle Seahawks v. the Minnesota Vikings, I’ll take the Seahawks this week if for no other reason Super Bowl experience! On Sunday’s Wild Card match up for the AFC we’ve got the Pittsburgh Steelers against their divisional rival the Cincinnati Bengals, I’ll take Pittsburgh, reason, backup quarterback AJ McMarron just won’t be quite prepared for a Steeler team which time again with again has had their number, even with the Bengals starter they couldn’t take out the Steelers, everyone just has that team that has their foe that whoops up on them. Lastly, as what I see as an upset I believe the Washington Redskins eliminate a disheveled Green Bay Packers, going into the season they looked like a sure fire thing, but after some bazaar losses for the Cheeseheads, I think their run is done for 2015/16…they’ll be back. So there you have it, check me out next week for the divisional round, should be interesting.
