Buck Stops Here

Team accomplishments are great, 53 football players coming together to win the Super Bowl. 25 baseball players bringing home the World Series. There is something special about one verses all. When it comes to Serena Williams and Jordan Spieth, they stand above all. When Williams is struggling with her serve she can’t hand her racket off to a running back. If Spieth can’t find the fairway there is no bullpen to go to. Serena Williams just won her 21st grand slam title taking home the 2015 Wimbledon Championship. At 33 years-old she’s supposed to be over the hill. Instead she’s destroying the competition going down as possibly the best tennis player ever. Spieth is going for his third major title. All he has done is won the Masters and U.S. Open back-to-back this year. The 22 year-old said this week he doesn’t think he’s that intimidating as say Tiger Woods 10 years ago wearing red on a Sunday. All Spieth has to do is keep winning and people will realize they don’t want anything to do with him on Sunday. It doesn’t get any bigger than The Open at St. Andrews this weekend as the course Spieth goes for his third major title. There’s no ‘I’ in team but there is an ‘I’ in accomplishment. Both Williams and Spieth have accomplished great things and they are far from done.
