Buck Stops Here

While everyone calms down the Fight of the Century that wasn’t, Mayweather verses Pacquiao, the NBA playoffs are starting to pick up the hype that the fight did not live up to. The first round in the Western Conference was supposed to be epic. Well the only thing epic was the seven game series between the defending champion San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers. All four second round series in the West and the East bring great players and story lines to the table. The current MVP Steph Curry and the mesmerizing play of the Golden State Warriors against the grind that is the Memphis Grizzlies. LeBron going back home to team up with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love only to be playing without Love against a Chicago Bulls team that all the sudden has a big three of their own (Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and Pau Gasol). The duo verses duo; James Harden and Dwight Howard of the Houston Rockets against Chris Paul and Blake Griffin of the Clippers. Then the cast of characters that is the Atlanta Hawks starting five. A solid rotation of players you would want on your team but not a star that stands out against the Washington Wizards. There is plenty to look forward to in the NBA postseason and a great thing for basketball fans, there isn’t going to be a sweep in the second road. Second round games that feel like conference finals games is what you are getting.
