Buck Stops Here

The NFL knows how to dominate the headlines. The release of the 2015 schedule on a Tuesday night in April brought national attention and headlines. For me it’s still all about the ice and hardwood. Triple-overtime madness in Chicago where the Blackhawks have gut punched the Nashville Predators twice in extended OT games to grab a 3-1 series lead. Are we finally watching the Spurs be “Too Old” in front of our eyes in their first round matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers? The story lines and games are top notch in the NHL and NBA. With the first round of the NFL Draft April 30th it will once again be the shield running the headlines. But that will not slow me down from enjoying the ice shavings and ally-oops. You can feed the NFL to the fans 356-days a year but it takes one outside the box to breakdown the NBA and NHL playoffs and that’s what we love to do in the mornings. Who else can say they were at the double-overtime game between Chicago and Nashville? Jeff Siembieda was there. That’s why we love waking up early and talking all kinds of sports nonsense with you.
