Super Bowl XLIX

While one could argue that the New England Patriots’ offense led by  Tom Brady is indeed a powerful force to be reckoned with, always remember that defense does win championships. I know boring and cliché, but wasn't it a year ago that we saw the dismantling of one of the most prolific offenses ever in the Denver Broncos in last year’s Super Bowl by the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle is a unique team. Defense is the story, but add in a year of more experience and quite possibly a year which sees them as even hungrier than the year before, having already tasted victory at the championship level already. Their offense should not be downplayed as well. Quarterback Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch could certainly take care of business, and take care of the clock and control the game. Add in the distraction of "deflategate" to New England, which I believe will be a factor, the Patriots come across as invincible, but they are human. And with a rabid defense coming at you, the fatigue of the last two week’s story will come back to bite Brady in the butt. So as you might imagine after careful consideration, I've come to the conclusion that the Seattle Seahawks will win, by the score of 31 to 28 in Super Bowl XLIX. There's my pick and I'm sticking to it. Don't forget to join all of us from Sports Radio 610 KNML Sunday February 1st, 2 pm at Sandia Resort and Casino for the NuMale Bowl Bash. I look forward to partying with you all and enjoying what I feel will be one of the best Super Bowls in quite some time. Come on down!!!
