Sometimes you have to just tip your hat to the other team. It's easy to overreact when your team losses and start throwing blame around. The University of New Mexico women's basketball team started the season 0-3 with two blowout losses to top 25 competition. No one was giving UNM a chance when #5 Stanford came to town Monday night. Yvonne Sanchez and her team came ready to play. They took the Cardinal down to the wire and had a chance to knock off one of the best teams in the country at The Pit. We'll see if they can build off a loss this weekend when the Lady Lobos host the UNM Thanksgiving Tournament.
