"Sports Solstice"

I hope you enjoyed the "Sports Solstice" this week.  Two days on the yearlong calendar where all five (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL and MLS) of our country's major professional sports leagues, plus college football were going. And Lobo basketball opens up with an exhibition game this Saturday.   Game six of the World Series coincided with opening day of the NBA on Tuesday and, with the Royals win, we get another day, highlighted by game 7 of the Series on Wednesday.  The stars are all lined up and it's a sports fan's delicacy.  AND, on Tuesday, the first day of the "solstice", you got the first ever college football playoff standings released.  No matter what you like, and you have to like something, this is a special time that doesn't happen very often.  Enjoy it!
