Football and futból.

While Bob Davie and company hit the grindstone and prepare for a trip to face UT-San Antonio this weekend, Jeremy Fishbein and the 15thanked Lobo men's soccer team head home for two matches this week. What Fishbein has done with men's soccer at UNM is amazing. A national championship appearance and multiple NCAA tournament trips. The student-athletes brought in are getting the job done on and off the field. The Lobos are well represented in professional soccer and the program keeps on clicking. This week the Lobos, 5-2-1 overall, need the offensive floodgates to open. They have talent up top with James Rodgers and Niko Hansen along with Oniel Fisher and Chris Wehan on the wing, just to name a few. If you haven't been out to the UNM Soccer Complex, do yourself a favor and go. The atmosphere is awesome as the Lobos’ attendance on a yearly basis is one of the best in the nation. On deck: West Virginia on Wednesday night and their second Conference USA game Saturday night against Florida Atlantic. Here we go, soccer, go all in!
