Greetings!

I hope everyone has had an excellent week! The guy having the best week in this city is probably Bob Davie. Deserved or not, Davie can go to work knowing that, more than anything, his team bought him another week or two of sympathy and understanding from the fan base. What's more important is that fans still care and empathy has not set in. Davie's meal ticket to sticking around the Duke City may be Freshman QB Lamar Jordan. Jordan has provided a spark for this team that is absolutely undeniable. Davie, if he is smart, will start Jordan going forward. I like Gautsche, but he's not the future (never mind his injuries).  Go with the guy who will be here for four years! It may hurt egos, but it won't hurt the bottom line that will keep Davie employed and keep butts in the seats… Relatively speaking of course. Have a great week!!
