More Olympic Quotes

A little something to get you souped up for the competition.

“Nothing is impossible. With so many people saying it couldn't be done, all it takes is an imagination.” – Michael Phelps, 16-time Olympic medalist in swimming events.

Mike should know. Why is this italics carrying over from a pasted quote? I didn't add the <em> tag here.

"I've worked too hard and too long to let anything stand in the way of my goals. I will not let my teammates down and I will not let myself down." – Mia Hamm, Olympic gold medalist at women’s soccer.

Here it is again. Italics. Take it off! OK, one more…

"My parents knew fencing wasn't going to pay the bills. They encouraged me to get the best possible education so I'd have plenty of options when my athletic career was over." – Sada Jacobson, Yale '06, Michigan Law School '11, Olympic silver and bronze medalist at fencing.

I pulled the italics off before typing again. But that last quote is great advice. You can't really go around showing off your fencing skills these days. Won't get you anywhere. This isn't Medieval England.
